Excerpts from the prize jury´s assessment
The modernized “schulplatte”, built in the 70s, now appears brave and self confident and stands out like a lighthouse in its tomato red painted shell. The modernization and renovation of the Astrid-Lindgren-School has changed a former standard school building into a friendly and charming school that functions well and enjoys a high level of acceptance by its users.
